Handmade Valentines

Handmade Valentines made on the sewing machine! I chose 3 different patterns of scrapbook paper and cut out hearts. I folded a piece of cardstock and sewed the hearts on the cardstock. Easy, handmade Valentine cards!

Crazy Pet Portraits

Supplies: 4x4 canvases Modge Podge Acrylic paint Brushes Scrapbook paper Scrapbook letters Wooden canvas stands Black spray paint Silver glitter spray paint Printer I don't know where I come up with these crazy ideas but here we go! I made these as a gift for my Aunt.  These are her adorable pets Patti the Boston Terrier and Winston the cat. I cut scrapbook paper to fit the mini canvas and modge podged it on. I then added the print out of each pet along with a scrapbook letter for their name. I Modge Podged again and added some sparkle spray paint. Cute and unusual gift!

Paper Flower Frames

This year for Christmas, I decided to hand craft most of my gifts. I needed the therapy crafting offers and it was fun! Here are some frames I made for my grandma and great aunt. Supplies: Wooden frames from Wal-Mart Scrapbook paper Modge Podge (paper formula) Scissors Exacto knife Glue gun I Modge Podged scrapbook paper to the front of the frame and trimmed around the edge with an exacto knife. I then applied a layer of Modge Podge to seal the paper. After, I created paper flowers to add some interest using a coordinating color paper. I found a great tutorial for paper flowers here: http://jonesdesigncompany.com/flowers/rolled-paper-flowers-tutorial/ . After creating the flowers, I glued them using my glue gun. I printed a photo to put in the frame and done!
