This rocking chair was created as a gift for my student teacher, Emily. The rocking chair was painted with the colors of her new classroom. Emily loves owls so I painted a cute owl on the back part of the chair. Students helped me paint the rest of the chair after 2 coats of primer. I probably could've just done 1 coat of primer but went with 2! Materials from Lowes: Zinnser's 1-2-3 spray primer 3 cans Valspar Jekyll Crane Cottage Green (Green) Valspar Boysenberry Jam (Purple) Valspar Water Fountain (Blue) Valspar Swim (Aqua) Valspar clear coat Brushes various sized Plastic drop cloths
New job, new (to me) office! I was recently promoted to an administrator at a middle school. The office I will be in is spacious and has its own bathroom! It’s a great space but needs a makeover!
