This rocking chair was created as a gift for my student teacher, Emily. The rocking chair was painted with the colors of her new classroom. Emily loves owls so I painted a cute owl on the back part of the chair. Students helped me paint the rest of the chair after 2 coats of primer. I probably could've just done 1 coat of primer but went with 2!

Light Install! 4.5.12
I've been wanting an antique chandelier for my house for a while now and I found one while out "junkin'" with my aunt! Here we go from old to new-old!
I'm rocking the head lamp!

Mirror frames 4.5.12
I was inspired by a blog I found that detailed how to frame out plain builder mirrors. My dad helped me cut the miter cuts for the corners. I love how classy my mirrors look now.

Wooden letters accent
As I redo the kitchen, I've been thinking about new accent pieces for above my kitchen cabinets. I was surfing the web for ideas and I saw this! E-A-T!
I found a great assortment of unfinished letters at JoAnn so I chose a plain style. They were about $5 each. I spray painted them my accent color Colonial Red. I think this is a cute accent idea for the kitchen!

Handmade Valentines
Handmade Valentines made on the sewing machine!
I chose 3 different patterns of scrapbook paper and cut out hearts.
I folded a piece of cardstock and sewed the hearts on the cardstock.
Easy, handmade Valentine cards!

Master Bath Redo
Well, I've updated the guest bath and now it's time to update my master bath.
I painted the cabinets the same as in the guest bath.
More photos will be added to this post as I get things done!
