7.23.08 Custom Large Curtain

I made this large curtain for a classroom window. I added an orange gross grain ribbon across the middle to divide the large flower fabric from the small fabric fabric. It is not shown in the top 2 pictures. The white ribbon is to bunch the drapery.

Emily's Teacher Rocking Chair

This rocking chair was created as a gift for my student teacher, Emily. The rocking chair was painted with the colors of her new classroom. Emily loves owls so I painted a cute owl on the back part of the chair. Students helped me paint the rest of the chair after 2 coats of primer. I probably could've just done 1 coat of primer but went with 2!
